For our newly established joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG and LG Electronics Inc. we, Lufthansa Technik AG, are looking for our Head of HR Management (m/f/diverse) in the field of product innovation in Hamburg. The joint venture’s core business is the development of innovative products for the commercial aviation sector based on LG’s OLED technology.

Your tasks

As Head of HR Management (m/f/diverse) you will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • You build up the HR team in Germany and Korea with new HR policies and processes in a startup-like innovative environment
  • You continuously develop a compensation & benefits structure that supports the attraction and retention of the best talents for our new joint venture and rewards high performance
  • You initiate a talent development strategy and define programs/measures
  • You work closely with the management team to improve employee work relationships, engagement, retention & performance
  • You provide HR consultancy support to line managers and employees with regard to all HR relevant topics
  • You steer and monitor the hiring progress to ensure a successful growth of the newly established company
  • You give advice on labor law issues and conduct contract negotiations
  • You steer HR service providers (as payroll)
  • Furthermore, you lead and develop the HR team

Your profile

  • University degree (Bachelor/Master), preferably in economics or HR management
  • Minimum of 5 years experience working as HR business partner or within comparable positions
  • Previous experience in implementing new policies and processes
  • Extensive knowledge of compensation & benefits programs and HR processes
  • Confident knowledge of the German labor law
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively and solve problems analytically & strategically
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Strong Excel skills with high affinity to IT systems & technology
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Strong intercultural skills
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
  • Experience in a fast-moving startup environment is a plus
