You will be responsible for the procurement team and thus for categories as textiles, tableware, toys and logistics. To support the global procurement alignment strategy you will collaborate with teams of your global network across the APAC, Americas, Middle East and Europe regions, reporting to Global Director Procurement & Product Quality Management.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Leading and developing the procurement team
  • Continuous process optimization, develop and implement tools, guidelines and standards
  • Initiating and participating in cross-functional projects
  • Development and implementation global procurement strategy
  • Lead strategic supplier negotiations to ensure optimal contractual terms and maximize value
  • Participating in budget process and ensuring achieving of procurement budget and targets by developing, prioritization and leading of global procurement initiatives
  • Supporting RFI/RFP process related to customer and product management requests, incl. participation in kick-off meeting and cross-regional coordination,
  • Supporting definition of quality requirements in collaboration with quality function
  • Supporting quality complaints and claims management

Your profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent education
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in procurement management, strategic procurement tasks
  • Experience in one of the assigned product categories and understanding of relevant strategic sourcing levers in assigned area would be desirable, not mandatory
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a multi-national environment
  • Strong project management skills and relevant experience in leading sourcing projects
  • Structured and persistent approach, excellent numeric and analytical skills
  • Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated experience, self-confident manner and assertiveness
  • Ability to influence, build relationships, and promote solutions without direct authority
  • Intercultural understanding and working experience in a matrix organizational structure
  • Ability to deal with a VUCA volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity work environment
  • Fluent German language skills mandatory and excellent English language skillls
